Terms of Service

Last updated: October 27, 2026 · Early access product

These Terms govern your use of Revive (“Service”), a website and API monitoring product. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Revive.

1. The Service

Revive provides scheduled checks of URLs you configure, incident tracking, optional status pages, heartbeats, and alert integrations. Features may change during early access. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or multi-region coverage at all times.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate signup information and keep credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be able to lawfully use the Service where you live.
  • One person or organization per account unless team features apply.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Revive to attack, overload, or harm third-party systems (including DDoS-like monitor abuse).
  • Monitor targets you are not authorized to probe.
  • Attempt to bypass plan limits, security controls, or other users’ data.
  • Upload illegal content or use the Service for unlawful purposes.
  • Resell the Service without permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or create risk for the platform or others.

4. Your content and targets

You retain rights to the configuration data you submit (monitor URLs, names, webhooks, status page content, team messages). You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to operate the Service (run checks, store results, send alerts you configure).

5. Plans and payment

Free and paid plans may apply. Paid features are billed through Stripe when you subscribe. Launch discounts are time-limited as described at checkout. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or as we state in writing.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” DURING EARLY ACCESS. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. Monitoring can fail for network, configuration, or provider reasons.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revive and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim (or zero if on a free plan).

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations, non-payment, or to protect the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Service stops; we may delete data after a reasonable period unless law requires retention.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above and, when practical, an in-app notice.

10. Contact

Questions about these Terms: use the contact method published on the site or the project repository maintained by the operator.

This page is a practical early-access agreement, not a substitute for personalized legal advice. For a production company, have a lawyer review jurisdiction-specific terms.
